Definitions

“Site” means the pages at veranix.net. “Notes” means the educational text published there. “We” means the editorial project Veranix. “You” means the person reading or writing to the site.

Educational nature

The notes explain financial literacy, market structure, instruments, and related economic ideas. They are informational. They are not financial product advice, a recommendation, or a call to buy, sell, or hold anything.

The site is not a trading platform, a broker, or an investment service. It does not accept orders and it does not hold client money.

Acceptable use

You may read the notes for personal study. You may not scrape the site in a way that degrades it, misrepresent an entry as advice, or use the form to send unlawful or abusive material.

Intellectual property

The text, the mark, and the layout are owned by the project unless a passage says otherwise. You may quote a short passage with credit to Veranix and without changing the meaning. Commercial reproduction needs written permission.

Liability

The notes are offered as general reading. We do not warrant that an entry is complete or current for your situation. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions you make after reading the site.

Nothing in these terms excludes a right that Australian Consumer Law does not allow us to exclude.

Risk

Markets can fall as well as rise. A definition of an instrument is not a statement of what that instrument will do. Past descriptions are not a forecast.

Business model

The site does not sell financial products and does not provide trading services. Educational content is free. The intended revenue is advertising and educational content. This version does not embed advertising scripts and does not take a commission for recommending an investment product.

Applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales and the Commonwealth of Australia. Courts of New South Wales have jurisdiction, without limiting a right you have to bring a claim elsewhere if the law requires it.
