Who is responsible

An Australian Business Number or Australian financial services licence is not published because none is provided for this project. The site does not offer financial services.

Form data

The contact form asks for a name, an email address, a subject, and a message. The server checks that the name, email, and message are not empty and that the email has a valid format.

The check returns a message on the page. No email is sent, nothing is written to a database, and no copy is kept on the server.

Data collected automatically

The host may keep ordinary HTTP logs, such as an IP address or user agent, according to the provider’s own setup. This site does not add its own analytics.

If you answer the notice, the browser stores one local key, cookieConsent, with the value accepted or declined. It is not a third-party cookie.

Legal basis and purposes

The form check responds to the request you just made, so you can see whether the fields are valid. The notice preference is stored so the notice is not shown again.

The data are not used for profiling, behavioural advertising, or automated decisions. Where the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles apply, the purpose is limited to that check and that preference.

Third parties, advertising, and transfers

This version does not load analytics scripts, advertising networks, or third-party pixels. Typefaces are requested from Google Fonts when the page opens. Font Awesome is loaded from its distribution network. Those requests may leave Australia, depending on where the provider operates.

The intended revenue model is advertising and educational content, but the current code contains no embedded ads and no advertising cookies.

Retention

The form message is not retained. The key cookieConsent stays in the browser’s local storage until you delete it. Host logs, if any, follow the provider’s period.

Your rights

You may ask for access to personal information we hold, and for correction, and you may withdraw consent where consent is the basis. Write to hello@veranix.net.

Because the form does not store the message, there is no enquiry file to send or delete. You can remove cookieConsent in your browser’s site settings.
