This page matches the code. The site does not set analytics cookies or advertising cookies.
What this covers
A cookie is a small file a site can store in the browser. Veranix does not set a cookie for tracking. The notice preference is kept in local storage under the key cookieConsent.
Necessary storage
If you accept or decline the notice, the browser stores that answer so the notice is not shown on every visit. The value is either accepted or declined. The page still works if you have not answered yet.
Analytics and advertising
There are no analytics cookies and no advertising cookies. No measurement script and no ad network is loaded by this version of the site.
Third parties
Typefaces are requested from Google Fonts, and icon styles from the Font Awesome network. Those requests are for files the page needs to display. We do not use them to build an advertising profile, and we do not place their cookies ourselves.
Your choice
The notice appears about one second after the first visit if cookieConsent is not already stored. Accept stores accepted. Decline stores declined. You can change your mind by deleting the key and reloading the page.
Browser settings
You can clear site data, including local storage, in your browser’s settings for veranix.net. Blocking storage does not hide the notes. It only means the notice may appear again.
If you decline
Declining stores the preference and closes the notice. It does not switch off a tracker, because no tracker is present. Reading the site does not require acceptance.
How long it stays
cookieConsent remains until you delete it. We do not set an expiry on the server, because the value never leaves the browser as a stored record of ours.
